Mini Crane – 360-Degree Rotating Crane

Are you looking for a compact, flexible, and cost-effective solution for lifting goods and materials? The Mini Crane is the optimal choice.

The equipment can rotate 360 degrees and offers high load capacity, meeting the lifting needs of various types of materials. In particular, mini cranes are affordable and help significantly reduce costs compared to traditional cranes.

Mini crane is a lifting device for goods and materials using a crane arm

A mini crane, also known as a 360-degree rotating crane, is a compact lifting device designed for handling goods and materials using a crane arm. It features a small footprint, flexible mobility, and easy operation. Mini manual cranes are commonly used in industries such as manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and services to lift loads ranging from several hundred kilograms to several tons.

Key Advantages of Mini Cranes

✔️ Compact size, easy to move and install in confined spaces.

✔️ The crane arm can rotate 360 degrees, allowing lifting from multiple positions.

✔️ Simple structure, easy to operate and control.

✔️ The hook crane can handle high loads, suitable for lifting various materials.

✔️ Significantly more affordable than truck-mounted cranes that cost hundreds of millions of VND.

Disadvantages of 360-Degree Rotating Mini Cranes

Although the product offers many benefits, there are some limitations to consider:

❌ Limited lifting capacity compared to traditional cranes. Typically, 360-degree mini cranes have a maximum capacity of 2–3 tons, making them unsuitable for extremely heavy or bulky materials.

❌ Lower lifting height compared to larger cranes.

❌ More manual operations are required during use.

Structure of a Mini Crane

Mini rotating cranes have a structure that differs from other hydraulic lifting equipment such as hydraulic lift tables. Instead of using a conventional lifting platform, mini hook cranes use a crane arm to lift goods and can rotate 360 degrees.

Crane Frame

This is the main load-bearing component of the equipment. The frame is typically made of steel with appropriate thickness and dimensions to ensure rigidity and high load capacity.

The crane frame is commonly designed in an A-shape (mini A-frame crane) or E-shape (mini E-frame crane), helping distribute force evenly and enhance stability during operation.

Crane Arm

The crane arm is mounted on the frame and can rotate 360 degrees, allowing easy access to materials from multiple positions. It is typically made of steel with suitable dimensions.

Accessories such as hooks, pulleys, and lifting cables can be installed on the crane arm to support lifting operations.

Lifting System

Currently, mini manual cranes usually operate using a hydraulic lifting system. Mini hydraulic cranes are popular due to their high stability, affordable cost, and strong load-bearing capability.

This lifting system is responsible for raising and lowering the crane arm.

Control System

This system includes buttons or levers used to control rotation direction, lifting height, and lifting speed.

The control system can be mounted on the crane frame or on a handheld control unit.

Crane Base

The crane base secures the mini crane in place. It is made from steel plates with appropriate size and weight to ensure stability during operation.

Most mini cranes today feature a movable base, known as mobile mini cranes, improving flexibility during use.

Wheels

The wheel system is attached to the crane base, allowing the equipment to move on flat surfaces. Wheels are typically made of rubber or plastic and sized according to the crane’s load capacity.

Operating Principles

Mini hydraulic cranes operate based on two fundamental principles: hydraulic principles and lever principles.

Hydraulic Principle

Equipment using hydraulic principles to lift goods

Equipment using hydraulic principles to lift goods

This principle is used to raise and lower the crane arm as desired by the operator. When the electric motor operates, force is transmitted through the hydraulic pump to generate oil pressure. The oil pressure acts on the hydraulic cylinder, pushing the piston and transmitting force to the crane arm.

Lever Principle

The crane frame and arm are designed based on lever principles to optimize lifting force. The fulcrum, usually the rotation axis, has a significant impact on the lifting capacity of the mini crane.

Basic Operating Process:

Step 1: Start-Up

The operator powers on the equipment by supplying electricity to the hydraulic system from a pre-charged battery.

Step 2: Adjust Rotation and Position

Adjust the rotation and position of the mini crane by moving it to the location of the materials to be lifted. Ensure the safety latch is released before operation.

Step 3: Control

Use buttons or levers on the control system to adjust the lifting height so that hooks, pulleys, or lifting cables can raise or lower the materials.

Step 4: Move

After securing the load to the crane arm, lock the safety latch and move the mini hydraulic crane to the desired position.

Step 5: Lower the Load

Adjust the rotation and position to lower the materials safely. Ensure the safety latch is released before operation.

Step 6: Finish

After completing the lifting operation, turn off the electric motor to stop the equipment.
