Connect to trailer: After adjusting height, lower the lip plate to connect the ramp with the trailer floor. The lip plate acts to lock the ramp to the trailer. The lip plate ensures safety for the forklift when moving up and down.
Move the forklift: The forklift begins moving up the ramp and into the trailer to load/unload goods. Note to move slowly and steadily; do not exceed the allowed load capacity of the ramp.
Retract the ramp: After completing the loading/unloading process, the forklift moves out of the trailer. Raise the lip plate, then use the hand crank to lower the ramp. Finally, the forklift moves the ramp back to its original position.
